A “cybersecurity issue” has caused MGM Resorts International to shut down computers across some of its casinos and hotels here in the US. This issue reportedly started Sunday, affecting properties in Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.

In a statement, MGM Resorts said the company discovered a “cybersecurity issue affecting some of the company’s systems.” While the statement did not reveal specific details, MGM is “shutting down certain systems” to mitigate the issue.

You can see that now from the company’s official website: As of this article, the site states it is not available, and contains a list of phone numbers to contact for specific MGM properties.

The FBI is involved, and is “aware” of the issue, and has confirmed the even is still active.
